Verified ReviewerThey took my signature under medical duress
Yes I filed a complaint with the atterny general. They claim they where never aware of the head injury which is a complete lie. Filed suit.
The guy did the estimate anyways and came to me trying to sell. I told him, 'I have a head injury. I can't commit to buying anything.' I told him this over and over. He left, and my neighbors, who live very close by and were handling my yard because the last time I tried, my head injury symptoms were so bad they had to call an ambulance, overheard him pressing me to sign and me telling him no.
They asked if I signed anything and apparently (again, head injury, not much memory), I said, 'I did, but I didn't want to.' I tried to cancel with the help of my friend shortly after. They said I couldn't. I had a 742 credit score and 14k in the bank. Why would I ever willingly and knowingly sign a contract for 30k (way overpriced) at 24.99% interest with such a sound mind?
They took my 'uh-oh budget' and the 'uh-ohs' happened. It destroyed my credit and finances, and I had to work day and night to get by. There was no way this was in my budget. The stress led to stress-related illnesses.
On top of that, it's bad work and they didn't come out until I had the financial company talk to them. They came out three times at different times than agreed upon. It almost seems like they intended to make sure I wasn't home. Issues weren't fixed.
My life is in shambles due to the financial strains. My lawyer looked it up and the financial company that is demanding the money is owned by the same people. I thought it was weird that when I called the lawyers demanding the money and told them my signature was stolen and their client's money was stolen with it, they just said, 'we will see you in court'. It's like if someone had taken someone else's info to steal from me, I'd be mad at the person who stole the info and robbed us both.
When my lawyer told me that info about them being owned by the same people, that made sense.
I have pictures of some of the bad work. I'll upload them if I can find more later, but the siding and gutter are constantly falling off, regardless of regular cleaning and maintenance.

Preferred solution: Full refund and repairs money (I no longer trust them to fix my home) and also money towards damages this whole thing has done to my financial, physical, and mental health

Verified ReviewerNothing But Issues Ever Since Power HRG Replaced My Roof, Soffits, Fascia, and Gutters in March 2024
First, they had a dumpster delivered. The dumpster company drove on my lawn, creating a ditch 13' deep. They refused to come out and fill it in. Power said the dumpster company is a separate company and there was nothing they could do.
Second, the workers were throwing the old roof shingles off the roof into the dumpster. They cracked part of my siding in the process. The inspector said that this damage was listed as prior damage. I showed him where the prior damage was and explained how this was not the same damage. He refused to do anything about it.
Third and definitely most infuriating, the day after the inspector who closed out the project left, the siding at the top nearest the soffit all along the front of the house started falling off. I promptly contacted the project team at Power HRG, and they had someone come out and fix the siding a few days later. Then it happened again. This time I couldn't get in touch with anyone for weeks. Finally, I was able to reach someone after a month or so, and they sent someone out to fix the siding again. Then, it happened again, and this time I couldn't get in touch with anyone for months. In July of 2024, they responded to one of my emails but didn't send anyone out. I tried to learn how to fix it myself, but the siding just keeps falling down. Now in September of 2025, I'm trying to reach out again, and they're telling me that they don't have any openings until 2026.
That's not all either. In short, there are chipped shingles here and there on the roof, there are hundreds upon hundreds of nails all over my yard around the house and in the gutters, the gutters are not graded correctly, causing plants to grow out of them in the spring, and they convinced me to go with these 6' K style gutters, saying that they are better and don't need gutter guards since they're so large. Unfortunately, that's a total lie, and now it'll cost an arm and a leg to get some type of guard installed so I don't have to clean them twice each year.
This company is all about making money by overselling, saving money by cutting corners, providing horrible customer service, and ultimately screwing over their customers.
- Poor customer service
- Expensive

CONCERNED BY MY UNHAPPY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!!!!
!They were walking through my neighborhood two twenty somethings a guy & a gal. They came uo on my porch and asked me if there was any work on my house that I needed done.
I replied I need some vynal siding repairs. THEY SAID THEY COULD SEND ONE OF THEIR TECHNICHITIANS over to give me a free estimate in two hours. Two hours later a guy arrives and he starts telling me what great work they do & how they have done a million jobs using the best materials & showed Mme a map with black dots which I assume were the locations of these jobs.I tell him it's a small job & probably four pieces of siding needed to be replaced. He does out to look and goes around the house & comes in about 15 minutes later.
So I asked him how much he estimated the repair would cost. He said we don't do repairs. we replace all he siding. So I as asked hime how much that would cost & he said a house about the size of my house would be about $60.000!!!
I expected an estimate of between $200 & $500 not $60,000. My wife is in her 70s & I'm in my eighties & I could see how this free estimate could end up with me losing my house as someone I know lost theirs from a ripoff instillation of new windows.
The only thing they really did wrong was to NOT TELL ME THEY DO NOT REPAIR SIDING!!! BUT IT IS EASY TO SEE HOW THIS COULD GO BADLY!!!

User's recommendation: DANGER BEWARE!!!
Aggressive
They try and intimidate you if you want to cancel a project (even within the contract cancellation clause timeframe).
User's recommendation: Do not answer the door when they knock or just tell them to *** OFF.
They will take your money and leave you with *** windows
In 2019 we started looking for windows.
We were actually originally going to go with Anderson.
We had power home remodeling sales man stop at our house and he talked with my father.
We were pretty impressed by the salesman. He told us that Power is different companies And that they manufacture The windows here in Colorado for our claimants and that we have lifetime warranty on our windows!!!
And that we never have to worry about anything.
I want you to know that this whole time that we are having this conversation with this man were in my dining room where I have my grandfathers flag and his World War II medals.
My father is also a veteran.
He baited us!
He told us that power home remodeling works with. Thats that they are veteran company.
The lifetime manufacturing warranty lifetime warranty on maintenance of the windows plus theyre manufactured in Colorado and they work in higher veterans, I mean we were sold!
Our windows were installed in January Election Day 2020
Within 4 months, our bedroom windows upstairs and our dining windows, and our back living room windows failed
It took them a minute to come replace our windows, And when I mean by a minute, it took like 6 to 8 months and they actually had to come out several times to replace the windows.
Here we are 2025 my back two bedroom windows have now failed, and Im having issues with our screens, Im having issues with the windows in general, and they are no longer under manufacturer warranty because that manufacturer is no longer in business and it was bought out through another manufacturer.
Weird consumers and his customers shouldve been notified that our warranty was going to be in void and we shouldve been notified so we couldve put in orders to have new windows replaced under that warranty. We were not notified that our warranties were going to be changed.
This seems to be an ongoing thing with this company. If you go back to reviews from 2014 its the manufacturer.
They are constantly blaming the manufacturer, saying the manufacturer is going out of business.
I was told at the beginning of this month April 2025 that it was gonna cost $150 per window to get replaced
I had her pull the calls because it wasnt just one person but two different people that told me it was going to be 150, and now I got quoted $180 per window to replace
We're looking at over $1000 maybe a little bit more
Now here's the kicker, They are promoting and selling a faulty product knowingly.
This has been an ongoing issue with their products from what Ive seen since 2014 probably going back even further. This company is a scam.
User's recommendation: Do your research we did ours, but we didn’t read all of the bad reviews
No show of repair person
This is the Worst company ever They make service appointments months out and then cancel those and wont give you appointments for months after that! Sorry I ever went with them Please beware!

Verified ReviewerFix Your Mistakes...It's the Moral Thing to Do
In putting in my windows a huge gap existed between the patio and sliding glass door. It was filled in with some sort of grout that made my papers look bad...really bad.
The company said they were not in the paving business and therefore weren't responsible. HELLO! They made the mess!
A threatened them with Facebook. Suddenly, they were more receptive.
Gabriel and Christian came by and offered me a solution. They were very nice and assured me I would be pleased.

Verified ReviewerWorse company to repair
I had a problem with installing a sliding door lock; it fell off. I had to wait 6 months for someone to come and fix it.
The repair person came and said it was fixed. I tried it later, but it still does not lock. I called them in July, and they are telling me they will not be able to correct it until December.
What a complete joke! Do not do business with them.

Verified ReviewerAggressive towards customers
The Power Remodeling consultant, Phillip Coles, was highly aggressive when questioned about the company. He spouted a bunch of nonsense about how people need to trust the company and he collapsed under pressure like a house of cards.
He was asked to leave but returned to the house. He continued to say that we couldn't afford the windows. Fortunately, my husband was home because this guy seemed to have some serious anger issues.
Power should be embarrassed. We're glad we didn't choose this company.
- No pros
- Suck
Preferred solution: Apology

Dishonest sales tactics
We chose Power Home Remodeling for windows because a family member used them and had a great experience. The sales team told us during our home inspection for the windows that our attic was 150 degrees and that we needed to purchase their radiant barrier.
He said it would reduce the temperature drastically in the attic, make our HVAC last longer and it wouldn't have to work so hard. We had it installed. Today it was 100 degrees outside and in excess of 160 degrees in the attic. Power initially sent people out to uncover vents they covered during installation, with no improvement noted.
We were told today that they can do nothing more for us, that our ventilation is the problem, and we need to have a contractor install more vents.
Never did the salesman state that the barrier would only work if we added more ventilation. We paid around 10k for a product we should never have been sold in the first place.
User's recommendation: Don't use this company
Siding is going off and I need it fixed asap since wires are attached to this piece of siding. I was told next available date is July 16 and too bad if wires fall out due to siding.
Siding is going off and I need it fixed asap since wires are attached to this piece of siding. I was told next available date is July 16 and too bad if wires fall out due to siding.
They will not compensate if damage is done due to siding.
Also the window they were supposed to send me to replace my faulty one, they only sent half. No response when I try to get answers or responses.
User's recommendation: Don’t do it
Terrible product and warranty experience
Buyer beware!! Terrible windows and warranty service,.
I have waited years for warranty service on windows, They wash their hands blaming the manufacturer. Absolutely terrible, Go with another company even if they are more expensive.
User's recommendation: Avoid at all costs
Resolved: Poor Warrenty Service
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I wrote the company an email and they responded back via phone call telling me the guy who was here miscommunicated.
All windows will be replaced, there are two warranties, one on the windows and one on the workmanship to install the windows.
The three windows that were removed and rehung by the other contractor are under warranty, but if there are any leaks around them, that is on the other contractor. I am fine with that, it makes sense.
I reported a window that a contractor wanted to replace because the seal was broken. Told him no, it had a life time warranty. I called and two years later, half the window was finally replaced. In the meantime one of the door to door salesmen informed me that I needed new windows, I told him they were probably just dirty but he insisted the seals were broken, I said that's funny they are your windows, He told me to report them, When called to set up install for the bathroom window replacement I told them I needed the other windows checked based on their saleman's observations.
23 out of 24 windows have a broken seal, the only window with no damage is an interior window between the family room and enclosed back porch, no exposure to weather. I was told that 3 of the windows will not be covered because they were reframed when I had to replace an exterior wall, They were touched by another contactor so the warranty is void on them. 23 out of 24 windows have issues, I think that is pretty good indication the issue is the windows not something the other contractor did. The 20 windows will take 6 to 9 months to come in, I also have a piece of siding coming down, I had to set up an appointment for that.
It will be March (this is November) before that can be fixed. It is blowing in the wind and the side of my house is exposed, How much more damage is going to be done over the winter before that siding is fixed?
I am not happy and will no longer be recommending Power Homes to people. I should not have to fight or wait extended periods of time for my warranty work to be done,
- Good up front work
- Long turn around time on warranty work
- Higher price than others
- Look for excuses not to honor warrenty
Preferred solution: My Warrenty honored
User's recommendation: Life Tiime Warrenties are only good if they are honored, don't pay higher costs for Warrenties that will not be honored
One Star Not low enough
Power Home Remodeling is a terrible company. As a former employee, I was able to see how poorly treated the customers are.
Power will charge its customers up to 3x what competitors will charge for the same product. On top of that, once you are a customer, if the install crew did not do the job to your satisfaction, it is extremely difficult to get someone back out to do repairs.
This company does not deliver on its promises, it does not treat its employees or its customers well. I would avoid at all costs
User's recommendation: Go with literally any other competitor

Verified ReviewerResolved: Ilegal Installation
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
I hired Power to replace the worn out shingles on my roof, They said they would take care of permits with the town building dept. 2 years later I needed a permit for install of a generator and propane gas system. The town will not issue me any more permits since Power Home Remodeling never completed the permit requirements for the roof replacement which is now considered an ileagal installation that is not compliant with town building codes.
If I have to have the entire job re done to comply with local codes I will contact a lawyer and file suit against Power Home Remodeling.make sure the contractor you choose is licensed for your locality and insured. Have them furnish you with a printed copy of the permit for the work to be done including the permit number.
- Quality materials used
- Overpriced
- Sales people very pushy
Preferred solution: Get proper permit from the town and / or replace roof to comply with local codes.
To let others know what a scam this company is
Horrible people these salespeople are. Do not ever let any of them into your home. You have been warned.

I was told the same thing on my gutters and wouldn’t you know they clogged up. My previous gutters had the guards in them. Called them and they said they don’t do those anymore to which I said I should have been told prior.
