O my door bell rang and it was a very nice guy from power. He said I could get a free estimate for windows and didn't even need to be home but they couldn't be on my property unless someone was home.

It was fine if all i needed to be was home. When he called the "scheduler" not only would I need to be home, but I would need to discuss my options with the sales guy.

I quickly cancelled my appointment. After seeing these posts, I'm so glad I cancelled!

They just came to my door about an hour ago. Had a very nice chat and he was trying to sell window replacements.

I happen to be in the market for some external doors. I thought, come back tomorrow after work at 5:30 and we can do business. Started to setup an appt for an estimate but they insisted my wife be available at the same time (which, I didn't know my wife's schedule) so I said no, I can handle it. Said they "needed both of us so we could settle on a style of door/window, how about another day, how about Saturday will you both be here?".

It just sounded really fishy and high pressure, very bad vibe from it all.

Glad I read this. They were not listed in the Better Business Bureau either which I found odd.

Ray, you comment is all well and good if you need to actually measure. Your sales rep spent 5 minutes measuring and over 2.5 hours of our busy day hard selling. He ignored my gentle hints to speed it up,

and distracted my kids from dinner and homework.

After this experience, I wouldn't hire you if you beat the next guy by 5 grand.

My name is Ray Lodato - I'm the Customer Advocacy Manager here at Power Home Remodeling Group.

As you know, remodeling projects come in all shapes and sizes. There is no 'one size fits all' solution.

In order to install the remodeling products we sell, we need to meet with the home owner, discuss their needs and educate them as to the products we sell that can satisfy those needs.

Part of that is discussing the products themselves and the options that go along with them, but another large part is measuring the correct areas in your home so that we can deliver the experience you deserve.

Since all of our products are custom made and ordered, if we don't accurately measure the specifics of the requested project, we can't satisfy our customer's needs.

If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact me at your leisure.

Yours in Service,

this company is RELENTLESS! We have had them in our neighborhood multiple times and had the unfortunate experience of having a "free estimate" given to us, which took 3 HOURS, every time a price was thrown at us, we had reiterated that we were only in the researching phase, and the rep would keep coming back with a new price, we continually tried to tell them that we were researching and not purchasing service ( which we were up front with the neighborhood solicitor) and he would NOT LEAVE!

They have been canvasing the neighborhood non stop, we have been approached by this company THREE times while we were doing lawn work, and even after telling the representative over the phone and the one that visited the house we were not interested. We are on the Do Not Call list but they continue to call us, after telling them to take us off the call list they have changed their calling number three times and continue to barrage us with calls up to five times a day, it has now slowed to five times a week, but still... they are relentless!!
